A loan of $2,075 helped a member to buy four fattening piglets.

Gayatri Indah Group's story

As a housewife who lives in the village, Ni Komang raises pigs in order to help her husband, who works as a laborer, and finance her three children. Ni Komang came back to MUK to borrow 2,000,000 IDR (Indonesian rupiah) for capital together with the Gayatri Indah group. Ni Komang plans to use this loan to buy four fattening piglets to be maintained for six months.

Ni Komang expects the price per kilo of pigs to go up and feed prices to go down in the next six months so that the benefits will be more than the previous period.

The profits will be used to finance her children's school fees and, of course, to raise the capital of the pig business.
