A loan of $2,750 helped a member to buy balanced animal feed.

24 De Mayo Group's story

The 24 de Mayo communal bank was formed by the union of various neighbors in the city of Santani. They are women of the field who go all out in order to be able to help their families. They are the heads of their households, and they want to get ahead and grow.

Most of them raise and sell barnyard animals like chickens, pigs, sheep, and the rest. With this they struggle to get ahead and to get their families out of poverty.

Feliciana is one of the members of this group. She also raises animals. She is requesting this loan in order to be able to buy balanced feed for her animals. This way she will continue feeding her animals, and they will not need anything. She is grateful for the opportunity that she is getting. It will be very helpful.

In this group: Feliciana, Pabla, Balsovia, Leonora, Elma, Mercedes, Odila, Deisy, Victoria, Hermelinda, Margarita, Liz, Dolly*, Gloria*
