A loan of $775 helped to buy snacks like cookies, candy and chewing gum, among others.

Mary's story

Mary, 34, is a kind, very hardworking woman. She’s single and has no children. She lives in her parents’ house with her siblings. Mary works selling snacks like candy, cookies, chewing gum and soft-drinks. She sets a table up daily in front of her house where she displays all the products she sells. She’s been doing this work for a year and since she started she’s been doing it by herself. On the other hand, she also invests her capital constantly to buy and sell lumber with her father.

Her business is moving along adequately and she hopes to continue working like she’s done to date in order to get ahead. On this occasion, she will request 2,000 soles and she thanks those who will fund the loan she needs to continue developing her business. In addition, she commits to make her payments punctually. She will use the requested amount to buy cookies, candy and chocolates, among other products.
