Kuña Katupyry Group's story

The Kuña Katupyry group is in its 7th loan cycle of the women's communal bank programme, where everyone works and helps each other to get ahead. They are doing the elimination of poverty survey to understand each person's situation, where no one is below the poverty line, i.e. they are on an average income, but they work on getting better every day. Adria is a great person, she knows her craft, and that's why she's doing very well. She works as a hairdresser and it's thanks to this work is that she is helping her family and she has the income needed to help them. She's worked very hard since she was young, and her goal is to enlarge her salon and also be able to give work to other people that need it. She is applying for a loan to buy hairspray, dyes, scissors, shampoo, rinses and other supplies so she can continue providing a good service to her customers. She is thankful for this opportunity the group are getting.
