A loan of $200 helped to buy more boxes of tablets, syringes, and syrups.

Rose's story

Rose is married and has three children, two of whom attend school. She also takes care of additional family members. She has a pharmacy business, which she has been operating for a few months. She generates additional income by selling charcoal to all categories of people on a retail basis.

She has applied for a loan of 500,000 UGX from MCDT-SACCO to buy more boxes of tablets, syringes, and syrups. Her major business challenges include transportation of boxes of drugs to her shop and thieves. She aspires to own a fully-stocked drug shop, to educate two children up to university level, and to build her own house. She resides in a rented house, and the family has access to electricity and piped water.
