John's story

John is 68 years old and married with eight children. His spouse is a housewife and does small-scale farming in order to support him in meeting some of the family's financial needs.

He has been operating a butcher shop for the last 14 years; from this business he gets a monthly profit of 30,000 KES (Kenyan shillings). John has borrowed a loan of 60,000 KES for his second loan from KADET LTD. With this loan, he intends to use the whole amount to purchase animals for slaughter.

For the anticipated profit, he intends to use it to build his family a new house. His dream is to expand his business to other towns and to be able meet his family's financial needs.
