Cecelia is 35 years old and lives in the West Point area, which features the most populated market of Montserrado County. She is single and has two children, ages 8 and 19. Only one of her children is in school and two of them live at home.
Cecelia describes herself as a hardworking woman. For the past three years, she has run a market-table where she sells rice, oil and dry meat in the local market. She sells six days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. She likes her business because of the ways customers buy from her. She started this business with money given to her by her mother. She uses a shared taxi every time to transport her goods to her business spot.
Cecelia is requesting a loan to purchase more rice, oil and dry meat for her business. She plans to build a house for her children. She would like to say thank you to the lenders who support BRAC Liberia.
