A loan of $850 helped to purchase additional stock of fruits and vegetables.

Antonina's story

This is Antonina. The previous loan she borrowed helped her in her business, as she was able to buy more products, which enabled her to earn a higher income. It also helped in their household expenditures and her children's education. In addition to her fruit and vegetable selling business, she also has a food stall and an apartment. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday expenses.

She would like to apply for another loan of 35,000 PHP in order to purchase more fruits and vegetables needed in her business. Her profits from this business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and to meet the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Antonina hopes to have a new stall and dreams to expand her other business. She meets with her co-fellowship members every week to share stories of her work and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God, which she studies.

* All CCT community partners and/or clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital and repay microfinance loans.
