Stephen's story

Stephen is 25 years old and was born in Kibuye Village in Nakuru County. He is married with children and is engaged in small-scale retail business. Stephen wants to make a difference in his community and in the town of Nakuru by engaging with a community health outreach program run by a local organization in Nakuru. He has also committed to spending most of his free time with Community Health Workers (CHWs), counseling youth on avoiding drug abuse and positive living. Stephen is happy to own his own motorcycle and is ready to give back to the community. Stephen will also use the income generated from his motorcycle business to support his family, and he plans to buy another motorcycle and support more CHWs in future.
