A loan helped a member to buy handbags and pocketbooks.

Terminal Iv Group's story

Sra. Sandra Liset is a single mother who is 37 years old. She completed a sixth-grade education and has four children, three of whom are studying. Sandra buys and sells handbags and pocketbooks for women. She and her mother started this business with little capital. Sandra now has 10 years of experience and is able to support her family.

She organized a group and decided to request a loan so that she can invest in the purchase of four dozen handbags and one dozen pocketbooks of different styles and colors. Sandra will be able to restock her shop. In the near future, she would like for her business to prosper on a grand scale.

The other group members are small businesspeople who sell products through catalogs, sell shoes, sell bread, and work as a taxi driver. The photograph shows seven people, but only five of them were granted a loan.

In this group: Sandra Liset, Maria Nieves, Norma Amparo, Sandra Lorena, Leonel
