A loan of $600 helped to buy shoes, bags and jewelry for resale.

Babacar's story

Babacar is a single Senegalese man who lives in his own country and who has been actively involved in retail for 15 years. He sells bags, shoes and jewelry, which he buys at the market. The earnings from his activity help him to meet his personal needs and cover his transportation costs.

This first loan, of an amount of 300,000 francs, will allow him to increase his stock of goods and make more profits. This will in turn help him to save more money and improve his living conditions.

Babacar manages a stall. He starts his working day at 9AM and only comes home at 8PM. In the future, he would like to own a stall.
