Hayko's story

Hayko is 52 years old and lives in Gavar with his wife and school-aged son. It is already seven years since he and his wife, who is unemployed, began farming. Their farm is very scant, since they have only two cows, three sheep, one piglet and ten chickens. They want to expand their farm and in this way to improve their poor living conditions. Hayko needs a loan of 800,000 Armenian drams to buy two more cows. He hopes to receive a a good income for his family as a result of this loan. On this occasion he is really relying on the kindness of Kiva lenders and hopes to cooperate with them again.
