A loan of $1,000 helped to buy basic grains, perfumes, cosmetics, makeup, and decorations.

Lilliana Patricia's story

Liliana is married and the mother of 3 daughters, one who is 13 years old, and twins who are 2 years old. She is a saleswoman and an owner of a local convenience store. She is thankful for having benefited from her first Kiva loan, which she used to purchase grains, milk products, cleaning products, and she stocked her store and offered variety to her customers.

Today she requires financing to purchase basic grains, perfumes, cosmetics, makeup, and decorations. Mother's day is nearing and the majority of her customers are looking for presents to give, so she wants to be prepared to attend to the demand of her customers. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to improve the incomes of her businesses. The other business that she wants to have in the future is the sale of electric appliances in order to diversify her income and improve the quality of life of her family.
