Trabajando Para El Futuro Group's story

Margarita is a member of the communal bank “Trabajando Para El Futuro” [“Working for the Future”], which is made up of six responsible people all dedicated to their different commercial activities. Margarita has worked for 10 years now selling food near a school, the students of which are her principal customers. At the moment she is using her income to cover household expenses and the ingredients she needs for her business. Margarita is a very hardworking mother who, with a lot of effort, has been able to provide for her family. Her greatest wish is to see her children established in careers. Margarita will use this loan to buy ingredients such as potatoes, rice, oil, salads and sugar. Margarita is 57 years old, separated, and has four children. She continues to support one of her children.

The “Trabajando Para El Future” group is grateful for this loan. Margarita can be seen at the back of the photograph, the first from the left, wearing a light blue polo shirt with a brown vest and red pants. Gloria was not able to be present because of work reasons.
