A loan of $575 helped to buy cosmetics, such as creams, blush, and other products.

Isolina's story

Isolina, 49, is an independent woman. She lives with her two children, Talía and Melisa, and she cares for them in her own home. She became a widow 15 years ago, and since then she has worked tirelessly to keep her children comfortable, above all giving them the love of a united family.

Her main business activity is a consultancy of cosmetics from well-known beauty brands. She has hired saleswomen who offer the products in horizontal sales. She is a leader, because she is in charge of motivating them so that they can reach their goals together. She likes this very much, because she is characterized as a very tolerant and persevering woman. She has been in this business for four years, and she hopes to continue devoting herself to her professional development. Aside from this work, she is responsible for educational projects in centers outside her community. There she conducts training, workshops, and other means of diffusion.

This is her second Kiva loan. She is happy because she has the necessary capital to improve her business, and eventually her quality of life. Isolina will invest these 1,500 Peruvian soles in the purchase of cosmetics, such as creams, blush, and other products for her business, since she does not have the necessary working capital to supply her clients.
