A loan of $975 helped to buy merchandise and a display structure.

Ludivina's story

Ludivina is the divorced mother of one son. She has been selling women's clothing and accessories such as cosmetics, costume jewelry, purses, and shoes at street markets for several years. She has applied for a loan because she needs to buy inventory and to buy a metal structure. She says she has little inventory now, and her business is her only income source, as she is divorced and doesn't receive support from the father of her child. She lives with her parents and must help them pay household expenses. Ludivina dreams of owning a well-equipped boutique in the center of the city instead of selling at street markets because, at times, bad weather keeps her from working, and this greatly affects her finances.
