A loan of $200 helped to buy beef and other farm animals.

Yonatan's story

Yonatan, age 20, is a hard-working and tenacious young man. He lives with his mother in a house they have rented for five years. As a good man from the field, he learned all that is necessary about caring and raising farm animals. Ever since he was a boy, his main dedication was to keep them healthy and in good condition. This served him in undertaking, one year ago, the business that his family taught him, buying and selling meat.

He says that on the days of the livestock fair he gets ready to be able to buy the best specimens in order to be able to sell their meat. Yonatan sells the meat three times a week among the market sellers, where they pay him very well.

He now wishes to expand his knowledge. As an enterprising young man, he wishes to own his own butcher shop. This is his first loan with Kiva. He is grateful for the financial support he gets in order to be able to achieve his objectives. He pledges to be punctual with his payments. Yonatan will invest the 500 soles in the purchase of beef and other farm animals in order to stock his business.
