A loan of $800 helped to purchase shadows, powders, glasses, blouses, dresses, shirts, pants, underwear, bras, and other items for her business.

Nolvia Azucena's story

Nolvia is 43 years old, married, and has no children. She works selling clothing, shoes, underwear, household appliances, and kitchen supplies. She has been earning income from this work for more than 14 years. Nolvia has a good customer base, the majority of whom are residents of her neighborhood and others nearby as well as people who work at the factories in the city of Danli who visit her home. Nolvia is requesting this loan to purchase shadows, powders, glasses, blouses, dresses, shirts, pants, underwear, bras, and other items. She hopes that the loan will allow her to have more products available, which will allow her to improve her income to cover her family expenses and financial commitments. Nolvia's dream is to have a more appropriate store to give her business a better appearance so that she can enlarge the store, improve her quality of life, and so that her customers feel comfortable while shopping. Nolvia hopes that she will be able to make her dreams a reality with the support she receives from the loan.
