Annet is widowed with 3 children and two of her children go to school. She also takes care of her nephew and niece. She has run a restaurant for the last 2 years. She has applied for a loan of 1,000,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bunches of green bananas, beef, rice, Irish potatoes and smoked fish . She works seven days a week. She earns additional income through selling local Gin. Her major business challenges include seasonality and defaulters. She aspires to own a fully stocked restaurant and also to build her own house. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity but no piped water. Her major business challenge includes school fees and rent.
