A loan of $800 helped a member to buy second-hand clothing.

Nonvitcha Group's story

Nonvitcha is a group of four people who live in the same district. The representative of the group, whose name is Rachel, is the one with her hand raised in the photo. Rachel is 30 years old and married to a retailer named Raymond. The couple has three children, who are all at school and in their care. Rachel and her husband cover the various family expenses between them. In order to do this, Rachel has been selling second-hand clothing on a door-to-door basis for the past eight years. She gets her supplies in a market in Benin. With a view to boosting her business and satisfying customer demand, Rachel has got together with the other members of the Nonvitcha group to request a fourth loan from Alidé. The previous loans have been repaid in full.
