Kondokpo Group's story

The Kondokpo group is made up of four people who reside in the same neighbourhood. The representative of the group, named Madeleine, is the one with her hand raised in the photo. Madeleine is 33 years old. She did not go to school. Madeleine is married to a fisherman called Christophe. They have three children, which all attend school at their expense. Madeleine lives with her husband and her children. The couple shares the family expenses. To do this Madeleine has been selling various products (conserves, sugar, and pasta) in her neighbourhood for four years. Madeleine buys her stock at a market in Benin. In order to satisfy her clientele and increase her turnover and her income, with the other members of the Kondokpo group, Madeleine requests a fourth loan from Alidé. The previous loans were repaid correctly.
