A loan of $1,000 helped to buy pigs for resale.

Adjimon Samuel's story

Adjimon Samuel, age 29, is married to a reseller named Vioutou. The couple have seven children who have all received schooling, and four of them are still in their care. Adjimon Samuel lives with his wife and children, and the couple handle the various household responsibilities together.

Adjimon Samuel quit school at the primary level. For the past 15 years or so, he has been selling pigs to support his family. He buys his stock at a market in northern Benin and in Burkina-Faso, a neighboring country.

This is his first time seeking the financial support of ALIDé. This will help him to bolster his activity, expand his client base, and increase his income.
