A loan of $600 helped to buy a cow.

Luis Alberto's story

Luis is 55 years old. He is married and he has six children. He lives with his children and his spouse in the city of Guaranda. He is a member of the Los Pinos communal bank which is made up of 14 members that are from the same agricultural community located 40 minutes from the Pangua Community office.

Luis plants potatoes, corn and wheat and he also raises livestock. He is requesting the loan to buy a cow. With the help from the loan he will be able to buy and raise the animals. The challenges that he faces are problems with illnesses in the animals.

His dream is to build a house. In this free time he likes to rest and enjoy festivals.
