Nyame's story

Nyame is a small-scale farmer and seller of coconuts in Domenase (near Cape Coast). He has had some formal education and is a junior high school graduate. He is married and has five children. His wife is a trader. Nyame has been working as a farmer for close to 15 years. His income is used to help his wife pay the utility bills and their children’s school fees. He plans on using his loan to expand his business, thus allowing him to meet rising customer demand, and he plans to use the profits to ensure that all his children receive an education.
