A loan of $1,250 helped to restock goods for her sales point, namely to purchase diapers, baby wipes and other hygiene products for babies.

Mariya's story

Mariya works at a central store in her native village Nankovo. There she rents a selling space, where she sells children's goods and food (mixtures). Mariya has worked in this area for two years already. The main advantage of this business is the lack of competitors in the village.

Mariya is very hardworking and cheerful. She turned to Kiva for financial support of the amount of 10,000 hryvnia, in order to restock products in her store, namely to purchase diapers, baby wipes and other hygiene products for babies. Mariya would like to develop her business step-wise, in order to support herself and her children. Her relations with her husband are strained, and currently her mother often supports her financially.
