Mujeres Al Poder Group's story

Mujers al Poder (Women for Power) is a group working their fifth cycle. They are working to get ahead in life and also to succeed in helping their families through their jobs.

Celsa is a member of this group. She is progressing in life thanks the strenuous efforts she makes. She is a very self-sacrificing person and she says she engages in recycling and selling recycled products such as cardboard, paper, aluminum and more.

She goes around the streets of her community to collect these materials, and at times she buys them to then resell them, thus obtaining a better earnings. She says she feels very proud of what she does, as hers is a dignified and above all honest job.

She is requesting a loan to invest it in the purchase of cardboard, aluminum, plastic items and other products to then resell them to get a better income and to keep on helping her family. She is thankful for the great opportunity she is being given, as not many offer this chance.

In this group: Blanca, Osmayra, Karen, Emilce, Elvira, Melisa, Josefina, Gladys, Celsa, Luisa, Rossana, Marlene, Leonora, Nelly, Leopoldina, Celia, Luz
