Tsolak's story

Tsolak lives in Antarashat village in the Syunik region. He lives with his wife. His daughter is married and lives with her family in Kapan. Tsolak used to work in different factories in Kapan and Kajaran, but following the collapse of the Soviet Union, industrial production in the Syunik region declined and Tsolak and his wife became unemployed.

Now Tsolak is engaged in agriculture and farming. Tsolak’s wife helps him in his business. They have cattle and a garden where they cultivate fruit and vegetables that also serves as a pasture for cattle. Tsolak sells all his agricultural products in Kapan fruit markets. The profit from farming allows Tsolak to sustain his family.

He needs a loan of 600,000 Armenian drams to buy a pig and calf in order to enhance his animal breeding efforts. This purchase will result in a great profit for his family.
