A loan of $500 helped to pay for raw ingredients like rice, pork, chicken and vegetables and products needed in her business.

Cecilla's story

This is Cecilla. Her previous loan was a big help in her business. She was able to buy the needed ingredients and products for her food stall. Her income helped with their household expenditures. She has been in this business for seven years now. She and her husband work hard to provide for their everyday needs.

Cecilla would like to apply for another 20,000 Philippine peso loan to purchase raw ingredients and supplies needed in her business. Her profits from the business will definitely help meet her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Cecilla hopes to keep her customers and dreams of saving for their future. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week. This is where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
