A loan of $425 helped to buy clothing and ready-to-wear products.

Andrea's story

Andrea operates a business buying general merchandise from wholesalers to sell at a profit. She sells clothing for women and children and also has a food stall. Customers are attracted to Andrea's store due to her low prices and the many options she offers. Her regular customers are her neighbors and local community members. Andrea earns a minimum of 300 PHP every day.

Andrea is requesting a 17,000 PHP loan to buy additional stocks of kids and ladies wear along with other ready-to-wear products. She dreams that her business will continue to grow. Andrea meets up weekly with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business and draw strength and inspiration from studying the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners who gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
