A loan of $1,500 helped to buy scissors, shampoo, conditioner, and other supplies for providing dog grooming services.

Jose Luis's story

Jose Luis is single and has no children. He lives at his parents’ house that consists of only one room. The house is located in the District of Villa Pabon in the city of La Paz.

Jose Luis currently works more than eight hours a day as a dog groomer. With his earnings, he is able to cover expenses such as food and basic services. The loan he is requesting will be used as working capital for buying instruments such as special scissors, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and other supplies. He wants to offer his services as an independent dog groomer on the weekends so that he can earn more income and start his own business in the future.

His dream is to have a business of his own so that he can generate more income and improve his quality of life. This is the first time that Jose Luis has requested a loan from IMPRO and Kiva.
