A loan of $3,000 helped to pay for six calves and to cover fuel costs and fertilizer.

Lyudmila's story

Lyudmila is from the Shamb community of the Syunik region. She lives with her son and works hard to give him appropriate living conditions.
Lyudmila has been running her farm for many years. She keeps livestock (2 cows, 18 sheep), cultivates barley and potato, and grows different kinds of trees (peach, apricot, cherry, nut, apple, and pear trees).
As agriculture is the only source of income for Lyudmila, it is very important for her to gather a good harvest. She sells that harvest locally and earns income which is vital for her to make ends meet. Lyudmila would like to expand her farm but she has no means to finance an expansion, so she has decided to apply for this loan. With the loan's help she will purchase six calves and fertilizer, which is very important for successful land cultivation. The loan will help Lyudmila to cover fuel costs so she can take the harvest to the market.
Lyudmila dreams of having a big farm and will do her best to make her dream come true.
