A loan of $800 helped to purchase corn, firewood, propane gas, french bread and "pan dulce" (a Salvadoran pastry).

Evila Estela Del Carmen's story

Evila sells tortillas and bread. She lives with her daughter and two grandchildren, who are 6 and 8 years old. She works every day and has a helper whom she pays $80 a month. She does not face any risks in the products she sells because they are perishables and she makes what she needs each day.

Her goal is to acquire supplies to hold in reserve for the winter season. Her dream is to provide a better quality of life for her family and to make a profit.
