A loan of $1,100 helped to buy five sheep, fertilizer and seeds.

Nashkhun's story

Nashkhun is from Krashen village in the Shirak region, where she lives with her husband and son. Together with her husband, Nashkhun is engaged in agriculture. She keeps 4 cows, 14 sheep, 2 pigs, 20 chickens and 10 colonies of bees and also cultivates wheat and barley. Nashkhun gets milk and other milk products and her husband sells the gathered agricultural products locally. The income from selling is very important for Nashkhun and her husband to be able to sustain the family's life. As farming business is the only source of their income, Nashkhun would like to expand it. Having no financial means to do so, Nashkhun has requested a loan from SEF International. With the loan's help, she will purchase five sheep, fertilizer and seeds for the land cultivation. This will give Nashkhun an opportunity to cultivate more fruits and vegetables and gather high income, which is vital for Nashkhun and her family.
