Lan was born in 1988. She has two children who are still little. She and her husband sell votive papers. Her family’s total earnings are about 6,000,000 VND per month.
Lan has participated in the Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) credit program since 2013. In this first loan cycle, she would like to borrow 5,014,000 VND to buy more tools to make votive papers. She wants to buy more new furniture for her house.
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
