Caridad is from Ubay, Bohol. She is 60 years old. She is a widow and relies on rice farming and selling candles for an income. This has been her source of livelihood for 20 years now. She is asking for a loan of 16,000 Philippine Pesos (PHP) to buy more candles and fertilizer and seedlings for her farm. This will allow her to continue farming and assure her healthy crops to harvest in four months. The income she earns from this will provide her food and other household expenses.
Caridad only hopes that she is always healthy so she can support herself in the future.
