Shazia's story

Shazia is a 38-year-old housewife. She lives in Lahore, Pakistan. She is a mother of two.

Her husband owns a general store near his house, which is the only source of income for the family. He sells a variety of products in his store but would like to offer more variety to his customers. However, due to a lack of funds he finds it difficult. Therefore, his wife Shazia has requested a loan of 45,000pkr from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan so she can help her husband to purchase rusk, cake, biscuits, bread, bubbles, and popcorn. With the profit, her husband wants to grow his business.
