A loan of $1,025 helped to buy iron sheets for building doors.

Jose Oscar's story

José has a business in metal structures. He lives with his five children, who are 10, 11, 15, 17, and 21 years old. The oldest works, while the others are still in school. His wife is deceased. His business is making doors and windows, among other things. He does this work from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. He learned the trade out of economic necessity. He has an advantage in that he has his own shop and machinery for the work. He will invest this loan in the purchase of iron sheets for making doors. He has four that he is in the process of making. This will allow him to obtain more materials in order to continue working and to increase his income. One possible problem he faces is the fluctuation of prices for raw materials. His dream is to have a profitable business that helps him give his children the best in life and support their academic development.
