Danny came to Accion Texas Inc. for the first time in 2008 when he was looking for capital to start his own business. After 30-years as an employee in a similar line of business, Danny was ready to venture off on his own. The first microloan he received helped him turn his dream into reality and S-N-S Flags, Inc. was created.

When he launched his business, Danny’s clients consisted primarily of car dealerships around the San Antonio area. He now sells flags to a variety of commercial clients, the most recent being McDonald’s. Danny sells the flags for the grand openings and other milestone celebrations for McDonald’s restaurants and hopes to take on more commercial contracts like this one in the future.

Since receiving his first loan from Accion, Danny has been able to gradually build his credit and grow his business assets. Without the funds received from his most recent loan with Accion, Danny would not have been able to complete the repairs on his work vehicle, which would have crippled his ability to fulfill customer’s orders. Danny also hopes to use the additional funds towards working capital.
