A loan of $1,100 helped to buy machines and sewing implements.

Manuel Rodrigo's story

Manuel lives in Guayaquil. He started because his mother sent him to learn the tailoring profession. Little by little he started liking this trade. He now works alone and on different schedules. This is because he has to deliver the orders that he has at an established time. His difficulty is his wife’s illness. He wants to use the loan to buy machines and sewing implements. His dream is to make rooms to rent and to improve his business. He wants to use the loan to buy better machines and to be able to travel to other provinces to sell. He makes men’s and women’s clothing.
