Amougou is a 57-year-old woman. She is married and the mother of nine children. She is involved in retail and sells fresh produce (cassava, plantains), depending on the season, at a local market. She has been involved in this activity for the past ten years.

Amougou knows her suppliers and also her customers particularly well, as she has built her customer base over time, thanks to her experience in this field. However, because of her small capital, she always has to sell all her stock of merchandise before she can buy more goods. As a consequence, she is constantly out of stock.

She would like to buy a truckload of plantains in order to have a good stock of merchandise, which will allow her to better satisfy the constant demand from her customers and will prevent shortages.

Amougou will save her profits, not only to increase her business, but also to meet the needs of her family.
