Maysa is a 29-year-old married woman, the mother of three children. She started working in the beauty business as a hairdresser 15 years ago. She's just like almost all of the Palestinians living in Lebanon; they all start working at an early age to help support their family in making a living and covering their expenses. Palestinians don't have a wide range of working domains to choose; they are limited with certain domains they have to succeed in.

Maysa supports her husband, who works at fixing car flat tires, in their family's financial situation. She works as a hairdresser from her house, and at the same time she works for a hospital in the cleaning department to insure an extra income source for any sudden family need.

Maysa is applying for a Youth loan from Kiva's partner Al Majmoua to buy special hair treatment products and tools. She hopes that one day she will be capable of expanding her own business by opening a separate beauty salon and stop the cleaning work, so she can split her time between her own business and family equally.
