A loan of $675 helped to pay for grocery items, toiletries and beverages needed in her business.

Carolyn's story

This is Carolyn. The loan that she acquired helped her not just in her business but also in the education of her children as well as in her household expenditures. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday expenses. She would like to apply for a new 27,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) loan to buy groceries, toiletries, beverages and other products to add to her inventory. The more items displayed at the store, the better. More items to sell will result in better profit. Her profits from business will definitely help sustain her family’s daily needs and her children’s education expenses. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. Carolyn dreams that her children will finish their studies and hopes for the continuous success of her business. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
