Bexsi Yanira's story

Bexsi is a hardworking, enterprising 26-year-old young woman. She is in a domestic partnership and has a complete primary education, for which she thanks her parents for their support. She and her partner have a son who is in school and they work in farming for a living, growing vegetables and coffee for over eight months now. Her parents were the ones who taught her this profession and who still work in it, as it is a source of income for their family. She sells her produce through dealers who come to the area and who describe her produce as good-quality and clean. They own the land they grow on and they got it through a great deal of effort and hard work saving and going without many things to be able to have a place to plant without renting.

She is currently asking for help to buy fertilizer, manure, insecticide, and a fumigation bomb to be able to grow a little more coffee and to perform some maintenance on their vegetables, as this will increase their earnings from the amount of coffee produced.

Her plan for the future is to have a large coffee plantation that will keep providing them with good fortune, support for their family, and that will be able to worked from generation to generation. She also plans to keep her vegetables in good condition, as they are her family's only source of income to pay for her son's education.
