A loan of $1,375 helped to buy a solar panel for her home.

Yesy Yamileth's story

Yesy, 27, is a young, married woman with a great desire to improve her situation and get ahead together with her husband and five children. She was able to complete the first level of primary education, for which she is thankful, but was unable to continue because her parents did not have the economic resources to support her. She and her husband, who works in construction, have been able to get ahead little by little. She has always had his support in all of her projects and her most recent one is raising and selling animals. Having many problems to face daily, they felt they needed a new source of income for their numerous family since the children depend on them.

Yesy is currently requesting a loan to buy a solar panel to help her do her housework and avoid spending on materials such as firewood and candles, and to provide lighting for the house so the children can study.

Her goal is to improve her home by preventing fires and smoke which can harm the children. Also, they will be able to do their homework at night.
