A loan of $300 helped to purchase seeds, fertilizers, manure, etc.

Irma Mercedes's story

Irma is 37 years old and she lives in her own house with her five children and her husband. She has worked in agriculture for ten years. She plants the main basic grains like corn and beans. With the earnings she obtains from her sales she manages to cover the household expenses.

Irma is requesting a loan to be able to purchase the necessary supplies for her harvest like manure, seeds and fertilizers, to improve the land, which is shown in the photograph and is where she does her plantings, and thus obtain better earnings with her sales in order to be able to give her family better financial stability.
