A loan of $775 helped to buy products such as rice, noodles, milk, sugar, etc.

Glorioso's story

Glorioso, 50, is married to Rogelia and they live in their own home. He sells groceries from his house which is where his work center is located. For 12 years he and his wife have been running this business. The cropland they have was not productive so they looked for another way to generate an income and decided on a grocery store. At first they had many difficulties because the sales volume was low but over time they increased their inventory and sales.

Glorioso hopes to continue making a profit and improve his quality of life. This is his first Kiva loan and he is grateful for the opportunity and committed to paying back the loan on time. He will use the 2,000 PEN loan to buy more products such as rice, sugar, milk, noodles, etc.
