Esi's story

Esi is married with one child. She has received some schooling till the end of junior high school. Currently, Esi sells kooko (porridge) in Bukuruso (near Cape Coast). She has been involved in this industry for about 5 years now. Her husband is an accountant. Esi’s income goes towards helping her husband pay for the family's general expenses. Esi will use the loan to increase her existing kooko-making capacity. With the new profits from her expanded enterprise, Esi plans to develop her business further by venturing into newer markets.
