Mr. Souleymane is 33 years old and lives with his wife and child in a traditional family in N’tentou, in the subprefecture of Oulessebougo, Koulikoro region.
Souleymane is a teacher; in addition, he also earns income in other ways, such as buying and reselling small lovestock. He has learned this trade from his maternal uncle, who used to be a well-known vendor of small livestock (sheep and goats).

With the goal of meeting the growing customer demand, he has decided to collaborate with Soro Yiriwaso and is now on his first individual loan intended for buying 10 sheep and five goats from farmers in the nearby villages on market days. He will then resell to diverse wholesalers coming from big cities, for cash. He hopes to earn an average monthly income of 80,000 West African francs, which will be used to repay the loan and reinvest in his business.

Monsieur SOULEYMANE est âgé de 33 ans et vit avec son enfant et son épouse dans une famille traditionnelle à N’TENTOU, dans la sous préfecture Ouelessebougou, Région de Koulikoro.
Souleymane est enseignant de profession et en plus, mène des activités génératrices de revenus notamment l’achat vente des petits ruminants. Il a appris cette activité auprès de son oncle maternel, qui fut jadis un grand commerçant de petits ruminants (moutons et chèvres).
Dans le souci de satisfaire sa clientèle en nette croissance, il décide de collaborer avec Soro Yiriwaso, avec qui, il est à son premier prêt individuel qui servira à acheter, 10 moutons et 5 chèvres auprès des éleveurs des villages environs les jours de foires qu’il revendra aux grossistes venants des grandes villes au comptant à une clientèle mixte.
Il espère réaliser un bénéfice moyen mensuel de 80.000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour rembourser le prêt et être réinvestir le reste dans les activités.
