A loan of $975 helped to purchase beans wholesale.

Maria Auxiliadora's story

María, 52 years old and the mother of six children, lives in the city of Granada. She comes from a very hard working and unassuming family. At the age of 32, she decided to set up a stall selling basic grains. She used to sell on the outskirts of different markets, however over time she succeeded in establishing her own stall in a set place. She conducts the business helped by two of her children.

She is requesting a loan in order to purchase beans wholesale. The winter season is approaching and the price of this product is rising and she wants to charge a fair price and have products to sell. She wants to stock her stall with more products and offer a greater variety to her customers. This will enable her to obtain better earnings and save for her old age.
