A loan of $200 helped to purchase cosmetic products and used clothing for resale.

Fatou Diop's story

Fatou is a married woman who lives in Senegal. She has been an active merchant for the past five years. Fatou specializes in the sale of cosmetics and used clothing. This business allows her to earn enough money so that she can take care of her children.

Fatou is a member at one of the branches of UIMCEC and has obtained three prior loans. She is currently seeking a new loan of 100,000 francs CFA that she will use to purchase her retail products. Fatou wants to build her working capital and expand her merchant activity.

The increase in her income would allow Fatou the opportunity to save more money and progressively increase her working capital. Fatou's next project is to open a store where she can display her retail goods.
